Introducing SQL for Tableau CRM (Beta)

SQL for Tableau CRM is a query language that lets you execute queries against your Tableau CRM datasets. Structured Query Language (SQL) is typically used for working with data stored in relational databases. Tableau CRM uses the ANSI SQL interface to access Tableau CRM’s fast in-memory data store. It has native support of Salesforce features used in Tableau CRM, including sharing inheritance and custom fiscal calendars. In this release, there’s added support for link widgets, receiving faceting, and adding multiple datasets to a SQL query.

Where: This change applies to Tableau CRM in Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic. Tableau CRM is available in Developer Edition and for an extra cost in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.
