Set Up Live Agent in Lightning Experience with a Guided Setup Flow

You don’t have time to fiddle around in Setup to get started with Live Agent in Lightning Experience—your customers have questions now. The Live Agent guided setup flow configures Omni-Channel routing for chats, creates a basic Live Agent configuration, and set up an out-of-the-box Snap-ins Chat experience. Whether you’re a web chat newbie or a Live Agent veteran who’s curious about Lightning Experience, the guided setup flow gets you ready to go.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in all editions with the Service Cloud.

How: From any Lightning Experience app, click the gear icon and go to Service Setup. If the Live Agent setup flow tile doesn’t appear in Recommended Setup, click View All to see the full list. Then select Live Agent Setup.
