Show Your Salesforce IoT Data in Field Service Lightning Mobile for Android

With IoT Insights in Field Service Lightning for Android, mobile workers can now access valuable IoT data for customers’ connected devices from anywhere.

Where: You can now show your mobile workers Salesforce IoT data for your customers’ connected devices using Salesforce IoT Insights in Field Service Lightning for Android.

Who: Users who have access to the parent record can view the data in the Salesforce IoT Insights component. Only users with a Field Service Lightning user license have access to IoT Insights in Field Service Mobile.

Why: For example, with access to diagnostic data about the condition of a customer’s device, a field service technician can quickly analyze and solve issues while on-site.

How: From Setup, enter Connected Apps in the Quick Find box, then select Manage Connected Apps. Next to Salesforce Field Service for Android, click Edit. Confirm that ENABLED_IOT is set to TRUE, or click Edit and change the attribute to TRUE. Click Save.
