Override the Default Header and Footer on Flow Screens

If you’ve been wanting to remove the default header on a flow screen or customize the navigation buttons at the bottom, your day has arrived. This feature is new in both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic. However, it only works for Lightning flow runtime.

To remove the header and footer, deselect Show Header and Show Footer when you configure a flow screen. If you remove the footer, the screen’s navigation buttons don’t appear. Make sure to add a custom Lightning component that lets users navigate from the screen to another one.

Behind the scenes, custom Lightning components in this flow screen control the header’s look and feel and display the Pause button on the right side of the footer.
