Invoice and Cancel Subscriptions Without End Dates
Get more control over your evergreen subscriptions. You can now
invoice and cancel evergreen subscriptions in Salesforce Billing.
Where: This change applies to Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience in all
Salesforce Billing editions.
Invoice Subscriptions Without End Dates
You can now invoice evergreen subscriptions. When your order product has an Evergreen subscription type, Salesforce Billing invoices it each billing period indefinitely. This way, you can charge customers for subscriptions until they decide to cancel. Since you're not renewing the subscription at the end of a contract, you don't have to worry about the extra records that the renewal process requires.
Invoice Canceled Evergreen Subscriptions
Customers sometimes need to cancel their evergreen subscription before or after they’ve paid for a range of billing periods. Sales reps can now cancel evergreen subscriptions and invoice their customers for paid balances or charge them for pending balances.
Override Billable Unit Prices for Evergreen Subscriptions
Customize your evergreen subscription's billing price by defining a custom billable unit price before activation. You can now use the Override Billable Unit Price field to overrule the default billable unit price on order products for your evergreen subscriptions. This field is useful for correcting rounding errors or overriding the billable unit price on evergreen subscription records that were migrated to Salesforce Billing.
