Customize How Users Navigate in the Community App (Pilot)

Put Mobile Publisher for Communities users’ frequently used menu items within easy reach. You can customize the type and order of menu items with the community Experience Builder.
Where: This change applies to Lightning communities accessed through Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.


We provide Custom Navigation Tab Bar to selected customers through a pilot program that requires agreement to specific terms and conditions. To be nominated to participate in the program, contact Salesforce. Pilot programs are subject to change, and we can’t guarantee acceptance. Custom Navigation Tab Bar isn’t generally available unless or until Salesforce announces its general availability in documentation or in press releases or public statements. We can’t guarantee general availability within any particular time frame or at all. Make your purchase decisions only based on generally available products and features.

When: This pilot feature is available in the Winter ‘21 release.

Who: Available to orgs that enable the pilot feature and admins who have Lightning Community access.
