Bounce Back from Email Bounces
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
Who: Any user can see a bounce warning. If the user has update rights to the record, the user can update the contact’s email address to remove the bounce warning.
Why: A bounce warning appears next to the email address in lead, contact, and person account record (1).
Reps can also see the bounce warning in the activity timeline (2).
When reps click the warning next to the email address, they are taken to the appropriate detail page to update the email address.
How: To activate Bounce Management, from Setup, click Email, then click Deliverability. Select Activate bounce management.
To display bounce information, from Setup, enter Enhanced Email in the Quick Find box, and then select Enhanced Email. Click Enable.
