Upgrading to Salesforce Billing Winter ’19

Before you upgrade to Salesforce Billing Winter ’19, make sure your org follows new page layout requirements.

Where: This change applies to Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience in all Salesforce Billing editions.

Who: You need to have Salesforce CPQ to install Salesforce Billing. Some subscriptions offer this package for an extra cost. For pricing, contact your Salesforce account executive.

How: We’ve added a default invoice plan tab. If you’re already using a custom invoice plan tab, delete it before you upgrade.

As of Salesforce Billing Winter ’19, payment schedulers require a value for the Payment Gateway field. If any of your recurring payment schedulers were created without payment gateway lookups before this release, they will no longer work. Delete them and create new payment schedulers with the payment gateway field populated.

Salesforce Billing Winter ’19 requires the Winter ’19 versions of each payment gateway.

Salesforce Billing Winter ’19 added the following permission sets for each payment gateway.
  • CyberSourceAdmin
  • PayeezyAdmin
  • PayFlowProAdmin
  • AuthorizeDotNetAdmin
Apply these permission sets to your user profiles after upgrading.
