Note

Note

Certain fields aren’t searchable, depending on the object. You can still filter or sort on those fields. A tooltip appears when you select the search bar, showing which fields aren’t searchable. Be sure to check the tooltip if you aren’t getting the search results that you’re expecting. Generally, formula fields, lookup fields, and picklists aren’t searchable. All searchable fields are queried, even if the corresponding columns aren’t visible in the list view. Searching a “recently viewed” list doesn’t show results in the recently viewed order.
