Salesforce Surveys: More Control to Gather the Data You Need
Salesforce Surveys gives you new question types, more options to
view related information, and an improved experience for participants.
Gather Specialized Data with New Question Types
Take advantage of three new question types to gather data from your participants: CSAT, sliders, and picklists. CSAT questions let participants select a customer satisfaction score from a list of options. Slider questions let participants select a value on a sliding scale. With picklist questions, participants select a value from a predefined list of options.
View Status and Responses on Survey Invitations
You can now view useful information related to your survey invitations on the Survey Invitation record. See if a participant has opened, started, or completed the survey. After a participant completes the survey, take a look at the responses directly from the Survey Invitations related list. With these improvements, get survey data in context without building complex reports or accessing the API.
Generate Survey Invitations Automatically
Automate the process of creating a survey invitation when a record is added or changed. Use Process Builder to create a process that generates an invitation based on the criteria you set.
Editing Active Surveys Is No Longer Supported
Back in the old days, survey creators could make changes to a survey even after it was sent to participants. These changes often resulted in inconsistent data and usability problems for participants. To save your participants and data scientists some frustration, editing an active survey is no longer supported.
