See More Relevant Objects in the Recent Section

When users first start using Salesforce for Android, Salesforce for iOS, or Salesforce mobile web, the Recent section in the navigation menu contains the same items as the Lightning Experience navigation bar. When performing a global search, users see results only for the objects that appear in the Recent section. When users start building a search history, the default list is replaced with their frequently used objects. This change applies only to Salesforce for Android and Salesforce mobile web.

If your users use Groups and People, be sure to include those objects in the menu.

If a user can’t access the Lightning app that you created due to permissions, the default Recent items include the Account, Contact, Opportunity, Case, Lead, People (User), and Group objects.
