User Profiles Get a Trailhead Makeover

User profiles are looking more like Trailhead with a new default banner image to showcase your adventurous spirit, and some other goodies. The Highlights Panel component on user profiles now includes About Me and a Trailhead card. This change applies to Lightning Experience only.

Instead of those basic blue mountains as the default banner image, user profiles now have a lively Trailhead theme. You’re still free to change the banner image to make it uniquely you.

Users looking at their own profile now see a Trailhead card for quick access to learning and discussions. From their profile, users can jump directly to Trailhead and Trailblazer Community. The Trailhead card is part of the Highlights Panel Lightning component.

About Me is bumped up to the top of user profiles, right below the name. Users who haven’t written anything still get fun prompt text, which only they can see. About Me is now part of the Highlights Panel component. If the User Detail section of your User Profile page layout includes About Me, be sure to remove it from that section. That way it doesn’t show up in two places.
