Track Your Carbon Footprint with Einstein Analytics Dashboards
Get a snapshot of your company’s energy usage and carbon emissions with three Einstein Analytics dashboards. The Climate Action Dashboard and the Business Travel Impact dashboard use data from Sustainability Cloud to visualize key performance indicators. The Audit Dashboard uses your company’s sustainability data to provide visualizations of your records.
Install and Run Sustainability Cloud in Government Cloud Orgs
The Sustainability Cloud app is supported in Government Cloud.
Change the Language for Sustainability Cloud
All 18 standard Salesforce languages are available in Sustainability Cloud. You can now use Sustainability Cloud in English (en_US), French (fr), German (de), Japanese (ja), Spanish (es), Spanish (Mexico) (es_MX), and more.
Enter Energy Use and Emissions Data in SI Units
Now you can use the International System of Units (SI) throughout Sustainability Cloud. You can now change the picklist value of units fields to enter data without converting to US customary units. Many calculated fields show values in SI units.
Get More Reference Data
Sustainability Cloud is now preloaded with electricity grid reference data from the International Energy Agency (IEA) and electricityMap. Reference data from these sources is included and loaded during installation.
Calculate Your Captured Data
If you enter the distance you traveled and the fuel you used, Salesforce calculates the fuel efficiency. You can always use vendor-provided emissions if you have them. If you have your own custom carbon calculations, enter them on an Energy Use Record to calculate them with the rest of your carbon footprint.
Choose Miles or Kilometers for Air and Ground Travel Records
In Energy Use Records, now you can use the Segment Distance Unit picklist to input air travel distance segments in miles or kilometers. You can also define the flight length of short, medium, and long-haul flights in passenger-miles or passenger-kilometers for air travel record types in Emissions Factors - Scope 3.
Delineate Your Renewable Energy Sources
Available renewable energy types include hydroelectric sources. Renewable energy contributions to total electricity use now show hydroelectricity included and excluded from the calculation. Renewable energy calculations prioritize market-based factors from the available records.
