Expand order processing capabilities with support for multiple
currencies, gross tax type on orders, refunds on cancellations, order product discounts,
unmanaged orders, accounts and contacts, and payment processing with Adyen.
Enable Multiple Currencies
Set up the ability to use multiple currencies in currency fields throughout Order Management by enabling the Salesforce multiple currency feature for your organization.
Service Orders Using Gross or Net Tax Values
Countries that use a gross tax type, such as a value added tax (VAT), include tax amounts on order products, adjustments, and shipping differently than countries that use a net tax type, such as a sales tax. You can now manage orders using either tax type in Salesforce Order Management.
Apply Discounts to Order Product Summaries
You can apply discounts to order product summaries. You can also preview the result of applying a discount before actually applying it. Salesforce Order Management includes a standard flow, actions in Flow Builder, Connect in Apex methods, and Connect REST API resources to process discounts. The functionality is very similar to the cancel and return features that you know and love.
Store Records for Unmanaged Orders in Salesforce Order Management
You can store externally managed order data in your Salesforce org together with the orders that you manage in Salesforce Order Management by creating unmanaged order summaries. Users can directly edit unmanaged order summaries and related records, but Salesforce Order Management tools can’t process them.
Update Salesforce Order Management from Version 224 to Version 226
To update an existing Salesforce Order Management implementation to version 226, follow the instructions in the Update from a Previous Version section of the Salesforce Order Management Implementation Guide. If you don’t use the new features, some steps still are required.
