Take Some Tips from Guidance for Flow Builder

Get tips on how to improve your flows as you build them. Guidance for Flow Builder tells you, for example, that you forgot to close a loop. Or perhaps your flow invokes Apex code that uses the legacy Process.Plugin interface instead of the recommended @InvocableMethod annotation. You can show and hide these tips from the new Help Menu in Flow Builder.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

How: If there are tips for your flow, a docked prompt shows the number of tips at the bottom of the Flow Builder canvas. Expand the docked prompt to read the tips. After you fix the related issue, the tip disappears.Flow Builder canvas with the expanded Tips prompt

If you close the docked prompt, you can reopen it by clicking View Tips from the Help Menu. The Help Menu also has a Mute Tips option for when you don’t want tips to appear.Flow Builder Help Menu showing the View Tips and Mute Tips options

Notice the other options available in the new Help Menu. You can display available keyboard shortcuts, open Flow Builder content in Salesforce Help or Trailhead, and jump to the Salesforce Automation Trailblazer Community.
