Packaging: Push Upgrades Available for Unlocked and Second-Generation Managed Packages (Beta), Try Org-Dependent Unlocked Packages (Beta)
We extended the push upgrade API to enable you to schedule and push upgrades to unlocked and second-generation managed packages. Use org-dependent unlocked packages when untangling your org’s metadata is difficult. Explore an early preview of first-generation managed package conversion. -
Apex
The new @JsonAccess annotation controls how to serialize and deserialize Apex types. The new ConcurLongRunApexErrEvent standard platform event for Real-Time Event Monitoring detects concurrent long-running Apex errors. The release update “Enable Improved Caching of Org Schema” now has its auto-activation date advanced to August 12, 2020 from August 9, 2021. Two release updates require that users have the “View Setup and Configuration” permission to access AsyncApexJob, ApexTestResult and several other objects. The Transaction Finalizers feature (introduced in Spring ’20) is enhanced with the FinalizerContext.getRequestId() method, which returns the request ID of the Finalizer execution. -

In API version 49.0, use Bulk API 2.0 to query the dependency relationships between metadata components in your Salesforce org. The concurrent API request limit for sandboxes has been fixed to match the documentation. -
