Get More Control with Community Flow Page URLs

The Flow page URL now includes flow arguments in the query string. When you navigate to the Flow page in Community Builder, you can set variable inputs for your flows from the URL. The updated format gives you more control over your variable inputs while you’re on the Flow page. This change doesn’t affect flows that aren’t located on the out-of-the-box community Flow page.

Where: This change applies to Lightning communities accessed through Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Enterprise, Essentials, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

Why: Here’s an example of the updated URL format.
/s/flow/flowName?flowArguments=[{"label":"variable1Name","dataType":"String","value":"value1"},
{"label":"variable2Name","dataType":"String","value":"value2"}]
Note

Note

Make sure to use straight quotes in the URL query string. Smart (curly) quotes cause errors.
