Fine-Tune Your Filters with Custom Logic in Einstein Prediction Builder

When you build a prediction, you use filters to define the set of records in your data set that your prediction is based on. Now you can apply custom logic to your filter conditions to be more precise about the set of records that you want to include.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Developer editions.

Who: This feature is available to admins with the Einstein Analytics Plus or Einstein Predictions license.

How: For example, you’re building a prediction on the Contact object. You decide to have Einstein look at only a segment of your data based on whether the contact is a homeowner, has dependents, and is married. Rather than being limited to using all conditions or any conditions, you use custom logic to look at all homeowners who either have dependents or are married.

Custom condition logic on segment

Custom logic is available when defining a segment on your predicted object, and when defining the set of records to use as examples (what data science nerds call the training filter).
