Give the Gift of Automatic Logging

More sales reps can say goodbye to logging and hello to smarter selling. Users with a Sales Cloud license can use Einstein Activity Capture, which automatically associates emails and events with related Salesforce records. A Sales Cloud Einstein or Inbox license is no longer required.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

Who: To use Einstein Activity Capture, Sales Cloud users must have the Standard Einstein Activity Capture permission set.

Why: When sales team connect their Google™ or Microsoft® account to Salesforce, activities from those accounts show up on business and person accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, quotes, and contracts in Salesforce. Plus, reps get read-only access to the Activities dashboard, which lets them view a summary of sales activities.Einstein Activity Capture

How: In Setup, go to the setup assistant under Einstein Activity Capture. The setup assistant guides you through all steps to configure and turn on Einstein Activity Capture. Then assign the Standard Einstein Activity Capture permission set to up to 100 Sales Cloud users.
