Group Reports by Customized Date Granularity
Want to review the status of your customer accounts by fiscal
quarter? Perhaps you want to take a closer look at opportunities generated this month. Now you
can customize date granularity and group records by calendar or fiscal
periods.
Where: This feature is available in Lightning Experience in Group, Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
Who: To customize date granularity in Lightning Experience, you need the Create and Customize Reports user permission.
How: To customize date granularity when grouping records by a date field, select the date column you want to group your report by. Then, for Group Date By..., apply a calendar or fiscal period.
