Give your users a powerful, intuitive tool for analyzing Salesforce data. The future in reporting has fully arrived with Lightning report builder becoming generally available. You can group, filter, and summarize records to answer business questions like “How much revenue did we generate in the South East last quarter?”; “Which lead source is generating the most closed opportunities?”; and “What is the average age of all open cases?” Lightning Report Builder includes some changes since the last release. -
Joined Reports Arrive in Lightning Experience (Beta)
Joined reports are perfect for analyzing Salesforce data across multiple report types (like Opportunities with Products joined to Cases with Assets) or getting multiple, simultaneous views of an object (like Closed Won Opportunities alongside Closed Lost Opportunities). -
Export Reports, Keep the Formatting
Sometimes sharing your reports with others means exporting them to Microsoft® Excel®. When you export your reports, we ensure that the formatting you worked so hard on stays intact. The exported report also includes column summaries and totals. -
Group Reports by Customized Date Granularity
Want to review the status of your customer accounts by fiscal quarter? Perhaps you want to take a closer look at opportunities generated this month. Now you can customize date granularity and group records by calendar or fiscal periods. -
Filter Field History Reports by Old and New Values
Previously, with a field history report, you could track field-level changes with the Old Value and New Value fields, but you could not filter by Old Value and New Value. Get ready to slice and dice your field history reports, because now you can filter on both fields. -
Get Improved Performance with Enhanced Run Page (Beta)
Reporting in Lightning Experience keeps getting better. This release, we are launching the enhanced run page (Beta). The enhanced run page gives you an improved user interface. For example, viewing record details is just a toggle away. You’ll also notice enhanced performance when you run reports. -
