Share Data with Channel Managers and Partner Users More Securely
Members within a channel program or level no longer have visibility
into others’ accounts and opportunities. Although members can’t see the data, channel managers
still get the full picture by pulling the data into their reports and
dashboards.
Where: This feature is available in Lightning and Salesforce Tabs + Visualforce communities, accessed through Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic. Communities are available in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
How:Set organization-wide default to Private on Channel Program Level and Channel Program Member objects. Grant each partner user access to their individual level and member records.
An admin can control the org-wide default for channel programs and levels.
