Optimize the Day, One Resource at a Time
The dynamic nature of the service day can make a mess out of your perfect schedule. Get a handle on last-minute schedule changes with Resource Schedule Optimization. Resource Schedule Optimization quickly optimizes a single technician’s schedule without affecting other schedules.
Improve Dispatcher Experience with Live Gantt Updates (Beta)
Get live updates on Gantt objects. Changes to resource absence, service appointment, assigned resource, service resource capacity, service resource (live positions), and optimization request are reflected in real time on the Gantt. Previously, dispatchers waited between 1 to 10 seconds to get an update.
Customize Dispatcher Console List Views with Custom Filters
List views in the Field Service managed package are now similar to the list views you are familiar with in Salesforce. Give dispatchers the power to create the list views they need with custom list filters based on Boolean expressions. They can determine the time period by Horizon date or Gantt dates and apply complex filter logic. Filters can be private or shared with others.
Factor in Secondary Territory Member’s Operating Hours
The Scheduling Engine now respects your resources’ availability in their secondary territories. In addition, when viewing available technicians in a territory, you can now see secondary territory members’ hours of availability in the territory.
Enhanced Dispatcher Console Experience
In Summer ‘18, we made many enhancements to the Dispatcher Console experience for the dispatcher. An admin can change the Dispatcher Console settings so the Gantt loads faster. The changes dispatchers make on the console are now remembered.
Streamline Dispatcher Console Tasks
In Summer ‘18 and beyond, your dispatchers are more successful with route reviews, more accurate technician travel estimates, clearer optimization errors, and more.
