Additional Enhancements in Einstein Analytics for iOS
Where: These changes apply to Einstein Analytics for iOS. Einstein Analytics is available in Developer Edition and for an extra cost in Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.
Why: Enhancements in the latest releases include the following features.
- More easily create meaningful visualizations of your data with the new
exploration experience that matches desktop Analytics. When you open a dataset
or lens, Build, Filter, Views, and save/share Actions icons appear in the lower
screen. Build opens the panel where you add measures and groups. Expand the
exploration work area to full or half screen for easy access.
- Track your most important business metrics in the Notifications section. Open
the notifications tracking screen by tapping
. When you
set notifications in Analytics on desktop, the tiles for tracking progress
appear here. Tap a tile to go directly to the dashboard that contains the
notification.
- Access and share dashboard views with all your specific filters and selections
already applied. When a dashboard has saved views, the dropdown next to the
dashboard name includes a toggle to access both the saved views and the other
assets in the app.
- View your own geographical data in custom maps, now supported in Einstein Analytics for iOS.
- Einstein Analytics no longer has a standalone app for your wrist. We’ve removed the Analytics Apple Watch app, so that we can focus on making the iPhone and iPad experiences more enjoyable for our users.
- Einstein Analytics is optimized for iPhone X.
