Salesforce1 offers improvements to search, approvals, and many other sales features, so sales professionals can take care of even more business from their phones.

Salesforce1: Work Smarter with Better Search and Approvals
The Salesforce1 mobile app helps your team work smarter, not harder. The upgraded search experience gives your team more information about records before they tap. A secondary field now appears below the primary record name in instant results for lookups. This field gives your team more contextual information to pick the right record. Mistype a search term on that tiny mobile device keyboard? No need to retype because spell correction now shows your team matches for search terms with similar spellings. And your team can better manage their approvals with enhancements to reassign or recall approval requests right from their mobile device.
Salesforce Authenticator: More Backup and Version Help
We know it can be difficult to remember to back up your Authenticator accounts, so we provided more in-app messaging to help keep your backups current. You can also see the version of Authenticator that you have installed right in the app.
Salesforce Mobile Classic App to Retire in December 2017
To improve the overall mobile user, developer, and deployment experience, Salesforce is focusing mobile development on the Salesforce1 app. As a result, we are retiring the Salesforce Mobile Classic app on December 1, 2017. Also, iOS 10 and Android 7.0 are the final mobile OS versions that we’ll use for Salesforce Mobile Classic compatibility testing. We encourage you to start transitioning your mobile users to an alternative experience, such as rolling out the Salesforce1 downloadable apps or deploying custom mobile apps that address your current and future mobile needs.
SalesforceA: More Resource Options for Android and iOS Users
Version 3.1 of SalesforceA for Android, and version 3.4 for iOS is now generally available. You can now do more from the Resources page in SalesforceA!
Salesforce Chatter: A New Way to Work with Windows 10
Version 1.0 of Salesforce Chatter is generally available the week of May 29, 2017 from the Windows Store. This app gives Windows 10 Anniversary Edition users a new, easy to use way to access Chatter and collaborate with coworkers.
