This feature is available in Salesforce Classic and the Salesforce1 mobile app.

Field Service Lightning includes a bevy of features that serve field service dispatchers, admins, and technicians on the go:
  • A dynamic scheduling board that gives dispatchers and supervisors a bird’s-eye view of all scheduled service appointments
  • Smart scheduling capabilities that account for technician skill level, travel time, location, and other service factors
  • A selection of out-of-the-box triggers that allow for easy customization of your scheduling and display preferences
  • A robust toolbox of custom objects, work rules, and scheduling policies that you can use to define your ideal scheduling model
Dispatcher Console


Users accessing Field Service Lightning via Salesforce1 will see the following differences from the desktop interface:

  • When viewing a service record in Salesforce1, you can display the service address on the map by clicking the Related tab on the service record, then clicking the address below the tabs to navigate to the map.
  • The dispatcher console, which includes the service list, scheduling policy picker, Gantt view, and map, is not available in Salesforce1.
