Setup Flows: Bring Your Service to the Next Level

Our guided setup flows make it easy to get started with more service features, letting you continue to provide your customers with stellar support. There are new setup flows for LiveMessage and Help Center that you can access depending on your edition. There are some updates to the Email-to-Case and Lightning Communities setup flows.

Where: The LiveMessage and Lightning Communities setup flows are available in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Service Cloud. The Help Center setup flow is available in Essentials, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions with the Service Cloud. The Email-to-Case setup flow is available in all editions with the Service Cloud.

Why: Setup flows let you spend less time in Setup and more time using and customizing Service Cloud features.

The LiveMessage setup flow adds SMS text messaging and Facebook Messenger to your service channels.

The Help Center setup flow creates a self-service page where you customers can browse articles and contact you for help. Help Center setup flow start screen.

In the Email-to-Case setup flow, we changed where you add your support email address. You can go back and edit values if you change your mind. We also resend the verification email when you enter an email address that’s registered with us but unverified, in case you missed it the first time.
