Introducing the Lightning Service Console

The Salesforce console is now the Lightning Service Console, and it looks better than ever. Its enhanced design makes it easier for sales reps and support agents to spot the information they need to get their jobs done faster. This feature is available in Salesforce Classic only.
Here’s what the redesigned console looks like.
A screen shot of the redesigned console.
  1. Simpler lists with responsive columns and buttons to see more details without scroll bars.
  2. Custom colors for branding headers and footers, and new color options for primary tabs.
  3. Slicker sidebars to display custom console components better.
  4. Extra space to improve searching and reading experiences.
  5. Cleaner header to get right to search, apps, and settings.
  6. More modern fonts and icons with a consistent look.
  7. Neater case feed for easier scanning.

The improved console is based on extensive customer feedback and is turned on for everyone; you can’t turn it off. The console aligns with the new Lightning Experience, but it’s available through the App menu on Salesforce Classic and App Launcher on Lightning Experience.
