In this release, the UI Tracking event type isn’t populated with data. In the Winter ’18 release, it will be removed completely.
|Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions|
To prepare for this change:
- If you pull event log files into a database (for example, Apache HBase) for storage and querying, see the new Lightning Experience event types for Lightning UI and mobile UI events.
- If you use a prebuilt, third-party integration for Event Monitoring data visualization, Salesforce is working with these partners to update their applications.
- If you built custom visualizations, update your integration to pull in the new Lightning Experience event types and prepare to stop using the UI Tracking event type. For information on how to use the Event Monitoring API, see the Force.com REST API Developer Guide.
