Find What You Need with Search Layouts in Lightning Knowledge

Summer '17 brings the ability to configure which fields display in search layouts in Lightning Knowledge.This change applies to Lightning Experience only.
From the Object Manager in Setup, you can control what fields appear with different search results in Lightning. In addition, admins can customize which buttons display in list views and search results. The configurable options for Lightning Knowledge Search Layouts include:
  • Listview – admins can configure whether the New button shows on the Listview, except for Recently Viewed listview.
  • Search Results – affects the fields that show in Knowledge Object Home’s “Recently Viewed” list view.

Search Filter Fields and Tabs are not currently available in the Search Layout functionality for Lightning Knowledge.
