See and Edit Your Email Signature as You Write
Your email signature is now displayed in the email composer, so you
have the option of editing it before sending the email. This change applies to Lightning Experience only.

Make it easy for people to get in touch with you by setting a default signature.
Your email signature is automatically added to the body of all Lightning emails and inserted Classic text templates.
Note
If you open your email with a button or action that specifies content for the email body, your signature is overwritten.
