Productivity Features: Voicemail Messages, Classic Email Templates, and
Improved List Views
Give your teams the Lightning Experience edge with the ability to send
prerecorded voicemail messages, Salesforce Classic
email templates in Lightning Experience, and
better list views. Also, the revamped Sales Console is generally available.
Be More Productive with the Sales Console (Generally Available)
The Lightning Sales Console app is now generally available. Plus, it also benefits from all the great improvements we’ve made to all Lightning console apps, such as person account support, split view navigation, and keyboard shortcuts. These changes apply to Lightning Experience only.
Email: Classic Templates, Signatures, and Pop-Out Composers
You can now use your Classic Text, Custom HTML, and Letterhead email templates in Lightning Experience. And it’s so easy—open the template and send! And, you can update the letterhead associated with your Letterhead email templates. Easily provide your details in an email by automatically adding your predefined email signature to the email body—not as an attachment. And devote your entire screen to an email by popping out the composer into a separate window. These changes apply to Lightning Experience only.
Activities: Faster, Easier Activity Management
There’s a whole new look to creating and viewing activities. The activity composer is easier to read and helps you create activities or send emails within the page. The activity timeline has been redesigned to help you understand context more quickly and get the details of upcoming activities. The new design lets you view activity details inline, reducing navigation and helping you quickly scan through your list of activities. Plus, improved performance helps you get more done, faster. This change applies to Lightning Experience only.
Get Event Attendee Details in the Calendar When You Sync Microsoft® Office 365® with Salesforce
You give your users enhanced meeting scheduling options when you set up events to sync between reps’ Microsoft Office 365 calendars and Salesforce. These changes apply to Lightning Experience and all versions of the Salesforce1 mobile app. These changes also require Microsoft Office 365 and Lightning Sync set up with an OAuth 2.0 connection and the sync direction Sync Both Ways.
