The Send Email Quick Action Is Renamed Email

We’ve shortened the label of the Lightning Experience Send Email quick action to Email. Why? Because the label was often getting cut off (ouch). This change applies to Lightning Experience, Salesforce Classic, and all versions of the Salesforce1 mobile app.

This change affects only the Label field. The API Name field remains SendEmail. If you want to You can change or customize the label in Setup.

The Lightning-optimized Email quick action resides in the case page layout editor under Salesforce1 & Lightning Actions and under Quick Actions. You have two Email actions under Salesforce1 & Lightning Actions, and you might see three under Quick Actions.

Oh boy. How can you tell which one you want?

Hover over each to check the attributes. The Name and Create Feed Item attributes help identify which is which.
