Tidy Up and Close the Tab After a Macro Finishes
Let agents know that a macro has completed the work on a record by closing the tab. When a tab lingers open, agents might wonder if more work is needed. In the Macro Builder, you can now easily add a final close tab instruction to your macros.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
How: In the Macro Builder, select Add Close Tab Instruction from the Add Instruction dropdown. Make sure to add it last. Otherwise, the rest of your macro doesn’t run.
