Lightning Dialer: Track the Result of Each Call

With one click, sales reps can track whether a call was connected and how it went. Also known as call disposition, this important information is captured in Salesforce on call logs and the activity timeline of related records.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions.

Why: Track the call results of different calls. Sales reps can select from four options in the call panel. The call result options that are enabled by default include Connected, Left Voicemail, Wrong Number, and No Answer. You can customize the options that are right for your company.

Log a call menu

Sales reps are required to select a value to log a call when this feature is enabled. The value is saved to the Call Result of the related task.

How: Set up this feature by selecting Log a Call under the Dialer settings in Setup.
