Edit Legacy Tables, Create Lightning Tables

Lightning Experience dashboard builders can no longer add legacy tables to Lightning Experience dashboards. Legacy tables added to dashboards created in Salesforce Classic continue to be editable in Lightning Experience. Instead of adding legacy tables to Lightning Experience dashboards, add Lightning tables.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

Why: Lightning Experience dashboards have featured two tables for several releases, the legacy table and the Lightning table. Feature-wise, the legacy table is identical to the Salesforce Classic table dashboard component. The Lightning table includes many features unavailable in Salesforce Classic (up to 10 columns, up to 200 records, groups, and measure columns). Lightning tables are another way in which dashboards are better in Lightning.
