Drive Your Lightning Experience Transition from One Place

Looking for help moving your org to Lightning Experience? Meet the Lightning Experience Transition Assistant, your central hub for all of the recommended activities, tools, and resources for a successful transition. It guides you through the entire process—from building a business case, evaluating your org’s readiness, and preparing your implementation to launching Lightning Experience, tracking user adoption, and, ultimately, to turning off Salesforce Classic. The Transition Assistant replaces the Lightning Experience Migration Assistant.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.

When: The new Transition Assistant is available in sandbox and production orgs on a rolling basis between mid-February and mid-March, 2019.

Who: To use the Transition Assistant, you must have the View Setup and Configuration and Customize Application user permissions. My Domain must be deployed in your org to use some of the tools available from the Transition Assistant.

Why: For easier manageability, the Transition Assistant breaks up the process into three phases. Each phase provides step-by-step instructions and tools that speed up the work.
