Einstein Forecasting: Intelligent Predictions About Your Sales Teams (Beta)

Let Einstein take the guesswork out of forecasting. Use artificial intelligence to get more certainty and visibility into how your sales teams are doing. This feature is new in both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic.

Einstein Lead Scoring: Clearer Predictive Factors and Detection of Rank and Department

Einstein Activity Capture: Send Emails from Org-Wide Email Addresses and See Microsoft Events in Salesforce

We added support for org-wide emails. Plus, reps can see their Microsoft events from their Salesforce calendars. These changes apply to Lightning Experience only.

Sales Cloud Einstein Setup: Get Started with Sales Cloud Einstein More Easily

Setting up Sales Cloud Einstein is quicker than ever. We moved some things in Setup so that they’re easier to find. Plus, we’ve created a standard permission set to help you get reps up and running with Einstein. If you already use Sales Cloud Einstein, we updated the current permission set license. These changes apply to both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic.

Sales Cloud Einstein Analytics: Expanded Access and Updated Data

All Sales Cloud Einstein users have access to the Sales Analytics app, which includes all the Sales Cloud Einstein dashboards. Plus, we updated the Einstein Automated Contacts and Einstein Lead Scoring dashboards, but you need to complete a few steps to see those updates. These changes apply to Lightning Experience only.

Einstein Insights: Access Account and Opportunity Insights from Your Mobile Device (Pilot)

Einstein Insights are now available when you’re on the go! Stay informed with insights about your accounts. See predictions about which deals are likely to be won, reminders to follow up, and notifications when key moments in a deal take place. Reps can take action directly from the insights, including editing the related record or sending emails to relevant contacts. This change applies to Salesforce for iOS and Salesforce for Android.

Inbox: Get the Productivity of Inbox with Sales Cloud Einstein

Sales Cloud Einstein now includes Inbox, which lets reps integrate their email and calendar with Salesforce with a suite of productivity features. When your reps combine the efficiency of Inbox with the intelligence of Sales Cloud Einstein, there’ s no stopping them. This change applies to both Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic.

Einstein Data Insights: What Can Einstein Tell You About Your Report Data? (Pilot)

Reports show you data, but what does the data mean? Wonder no more! Introducing Einstein Data Insights: a smarter report. Einstein analyzes report data and summarizes key takeaways, comparisons, and trends with insightful charts and metrics. It’s one-click data science! This feature is available in Lightning Experience, Salesforce Classic, and all versions of the Salesforce app.

Create Einstein Discovery Datasets from Analytics Dataflows

Use an Einstein Analytics dataflow to create an Einstein Discovery dataset based on data from Salesforce objects, replicated objects, or existing datasets.

Use UTF-8 Character Sets with Einstein Discovery

Einstein Discovery now supports data that contains UTF-8 character encoding. You can upload and analyze data in any language that uses UTF-8 encoding, such as Arabic, Russian, or Hebrew.

Display Einstein Discovery Recommendations in a Salesforce Object (Pilot)

We are piloting native support for importing Einstein Discovery recommendations into a Salesforce object. Previously, it was necessary to install a managed package to enable the Writeback feature.

Put Power of AI in Your Community with Einstein Answers (Pilot)

When your customers come looking for answers in your community, they want accurate results that solve their issues quickly. Einstein Answers is here to help. When a community member asks a question, Einstein Answers looks through articles and past discussions in your community. After sifting through your community’s data, Einstein Answers suggests answers to the community member’s question. Power users, known as Answer Champions, review and rate the suggested answers and post good ones to the community.

JWT Token Is Now Longer

The JWT tokens you use to call the API are now longer. You see this change whether you use the token web page at https://api.einstein.ai/token or generate it in code by calling the/oauth2/token endpoint.

Change API Endpoint to Maintain Access to Einstein Platform Services

All the Einstein Platform Services and functionality have a new address. We’re deprecating the api.metamind.io endpoint. Update your code and tools to reference https://api.einstein.ai. You still have access to all the Einstein Platform Services, only the endpoint is changing.
